Disclaimer
As outlined in our Mission & Vision statements, the Translation Salon was established to serve not only as a preeminent translation provider, but also “as a virtual, globalsalon, or, a gathering or institutional space for discourse and the creation and exchange of knowledge and ideas.” To this end, our Blog functions as a non-commercial medium to “help facilitate the global dissemination of Dutch ideas, language, and scholarship and foster a broader community of knowledge.”
The Translation Salon’s blog exists exclusively for the purposes of education and the dissemination of knowledge. It is dedicated to surveying the latest Dutch language news, academic research, and contemporary debates on a variety of topics, and helping make these valuable sources of information accessible in English translation to a global audience that might otherwise not have linguistic access to them.
